William J. Creary, Jr. (Bill) is a 3rd generation attorney who has been practicing law in the Rochester, New York vicinity since 1985. His Grandfather, James R. Creary, was a Special Monroe County Court Judge and Assistant Attorney General of the State of New York. Bill’s father, William J. Creary, practiced law in Rochester, New York for a period of over 50 years, while Bill has practiced law for over 40 years. Creary Law Group P.C., and its predecessor, Creary & Creary Attorneys, P.C., has been in existence since 1993.

Bill is a graduate of the State University College at Potsdam as well as Pace University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor Degree.

William J. Creary, II (Will) joined Creary Law in 2020, continuing the family tradition of delivering trusted, client-centered legal services. He brings a modern, pragmatic approach to real estate, business, and estate planning matters, shaped by both hands-on industry experience and a strong foundation in public interest advocacy.

Before attending law school, Will worked for First American Title Insurance Company, where he developed an early interest in real estate and the legal systems that support property ownership and transactions. That experience inspired him to pursue a legal career.

During law school, Will deepened his commitment to serving others through housing-focused legal roles with the City of Providence and the Rhode Island Center for Justice, where he worked to protect the rights of vulnerable tenants and promote access to safe, stable housing.

Since becoming licensed to practice law in January 2020, Will has represented buyers, sellers, lenders, business owners, and families throughout the Rochester area. His practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate, business law, and estate planning. He is known for his attentiveness, practical advice, and ability to guide clients through complex legal processes with clarity and care.

Andrew J. Creary

Andrew Creary joined the firm in 2026. His practice focuses on real estate transactions, corporate governance, estate planning, and municipal and local tax issues.

Andrew previously served as in-house counsel for a large regional municipality, where he advised municipal departments, affiliated entities, and local authorities on commercial and residential real estate transactions, public works construction projects, professional services contracts, and procurement under the New York General Municipal Law and applicable federal regulations. He also counseled municipal leadership on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and matters involving the Public Officers Law and Public Authorities Law.

Andrew served as the municipality’s real property tax foreclosure attorney and represented the municipality in proceedings under Article 11 of the Real Property Tax Law and its local equivalent. He also routinely appeared in matters brought pursuant to Article 78 of the Civil Practice Law and Rules, and the New York Eminent Domain Procedure Law.

He is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.
